Project Description

Did you know 5.7 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer’s Disease and African Americans are 2x as likely to develop this devastating disease than Whites? Yet, African Americans are practically non-existent in Alzheimer’s Disease research or testing. William Parris interviews Dr. Christiane Reitz, Assistant Professor of Neurology at Columbia University Medical Center. William Parris then welcomes Dr. Izri Martinez from Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer’s Disease and demonstrates the Alzheimer’s Disease medical/test evaluation process as the subject.
